Aks is great novel written by Umera Ahmed describes very sad and hidden aspects of our lives which sometimes we want to ignore but it comes in front of us.
She stood in veranda instead of inside the room. There was a big cheval standing floor mirror at entrance. Mirror was made with oak tree in Victorian style. It was very old but it caught Shahr Bano’s attention. Her feet freeze there she was still. Mirror was not fully dusted but still had grace. She saw her reflection in the Mirror and the man who was standing just behind him. She thought she is lucky enough to have Sher Dil as she has her love as her husband. And with daughter it was looking a perfect family……………….
